Tables: Filtering
To search for an item within a table click on the 'Filter Selected
Fields'
icon at the top of the table to begin filtering. A small window
will load containing a search form that enables you to enter
any term or numerical value into a search box. Each column in
the table is represented by a search field (e.g. Mol. Form.).
To conduct a search of the table, enter the data you wish
to find in the appropriate field in the search form and click
the Apply Filter button at the top of the search
form. The results will be shown in the right-hand pane.
Note: ranges should be entered with a space, rather
than a hyphen, between the two numbers in order to avoid confusion
with negative numbers.
To clear the search form and the filtered table results simply
close the filtering window.
